I am fascinated by the benefit of yoga on our bodies, how it improves the body physically and how it impacts on positive mental health .When you change the way you look at things, things you look at change.
I teach in and around my home town of Penzance, situated in the far west of Cornwall.
I have been teaching yoga for over 20 years. My aim is to look after the longevity of the body, adapting postures to suit varying needs. With this in mind I have chosen to currently teach Dru Yoga and Flexercise. I offer group classes or one to ones. Dru Yoga has its roots in hatha yoga and includes classical yoga postures (asanas), pranayama (breath work), mudras (gestures), positive affirmations, empowering visualisations and powerful, flowing, dynamic sequences. Combining Pilates, Yoga and Tai chi principles.

Flexercise classes
FLexercise system is derived from WLHB (Women’s League of Health and Beauty) which was established in 1930 by visionary Mary Bagot Stack. It is based on physical exercise, yoga and movement. FLexercise helps to improve posture, balance, strength and increase energy levels. If you want a Class that develops you in a fun and friendly environment, this is a perfect class for you. FLexercise, ‘flexible, friendly fitness!’

I teach classes from the inside out how the skeletal system works, moving from the spine, maintaining the best position for each individual body.
There are never two bodies that are the same, the yoga fits and adapts to each person that takes part in my class.
I support this ethos by offering stages of movement and levels of exercise.
When we practice yoga I encourage a self observation, awareness of how do you feel , not the person next to you but you, a non competitive environment that supports and offers a community of yoga

Perfect for being in touch with our root Chakra. being inspired by nature.These classes fuse chi energy, traditional yoga and muscle work for an all rounded class. Offering options to suit different fitness needs.These classes are mat based Equipment mat, clothing to move in, dress for the weather. Jumper/ blanket for meditation or Relaxation Slightly chilly morning we will warm up so please come wearing trainer / bare foot welcome. A flask after if you fancy a cuppa with at least 2 metres distant between people . Aligning With Yourself
isThis class is a much-needed break from the stress and speed of everyday life. Grab a mat and relax into a soothing sequence that will leave you feeling centered and renewed. Combining the physical and spiritual aspects of yoga. We finish with a relaxation to calm and centre the body, so bring a cosy jumper of blanket. At the studio there are mats and equipment to borrow but this will be in line with current COVID guidelines. All equipment is cleaned after use. Thursday 7-8 pm Innerspace Newlyn TR19 5AZ please arrive a few minutes before the class starts.
Use the harbour car park or the free parking adjacent to the road you may have to drive up Paul hill and find parking on the road side. Look out for Harbourside Physiotherapy and RS Fitness which are visible from the road. Walk up past Harbourside Physiotherapy and the gym on Wesley Place, TR18 5AZ and you will see our sign we are at the top of the lane.You can also access the studio via walking from Kenstella road, take the second lane walk to the bottom you will see a small private car park. Walk into the car park head to the end and you will see a stable door and disabled space above a bench. This is the back door to the studio.
